Good Thursday morning to you!

I close each column I write with a simple phrase: thank you for reading. And I mean it. Without readers, we don’t have a business. Without a business, we don’t collect paychecks. We like to get paid.

We value each of you who read this newsletter and any of our publications, and we want to provide content that you find meaningful. That is how The Daily Umbrella newsletter came about. We have a great deal of content from our publications and helpful daily information that we package together into something we hope you like. We now share 16 regular items each weekday morning. Some of those have been featured from the beginning, others evolved over time, and several are new suggestions from some of you. That is exactly what we had hoped for, but we are not done yet.

I am asking for a favor this morning, as I am looking for some feedback. I am not asking to take an hour of your time or your social security number or a list of what you buy at the grocery store. You can trust that information to the big tech companies, if you choose. I simply want you to rate the 16 items that we publish each weekday morning and tell me if you read them always, usually, sometimes or never. If you want to leave a comment or two, all the better.

The poll shouldn't’ take you more than a minute or two to complete, and your rankings and comments are 100 percent anonymous. Just follow this link to the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FVX95NT

Thank you for taking the survey, and, as always, thanks for reading.
